Honda front disc brake kit Honda drum brakes work fine as long as they do not develop leaks of mud and water. Once internal components are subjected to mud and water corrosion, the damage is difficult to reverse without repeated rebuilding. The Quadrax Disc Brake kits are designed to replace the mud susceptible, drum brakes on Honda utility ATV’s with a high performance disc brake system. Once installed, the disc brake kit allows easy cleaning of mud and debris from hubs without disassembly, and water has no place to collect and corrode components. Quality brake pads are included and are easy to replace when needed. It is designed to fit on ATV’s with 12” diameter wheels and is basically “a bolt on” that requires removing the factory drum brake components, replacing with the disc brake system, and bleeding (removing air) from the lines. No fabrication or welding is required and complete instructions are furnished. Parts included are high performance dual piston calipers, pads, rotors, mounting brackets, hub spacers, new studs and all hardware. IMPORTANT: When installing this kit, you should re-use the original brake lines, as new ones are not included. We suggest that you replace any line that shows signs of deterioration.

Replacement Rotor

Double sealed Honda front wheel bearings The original equipment bearings installed by Honda at the factory are unsealed. They work okay as long as they are continuously maintained and packed with grease and are not continually subjected to a bath of sandy, muddy water. Intended for use in extreme conditions, Quadrax bearings are double sealed. They last many times longer than stock OEM and other replacement bearings.
